Transforming the Food Delivery Experience
Complete design of a food delivery platform focused on enhancing usability, simplifying the ordering process, and building emotional engagement through a personalized mascot experience. The goal was to create a seamless, intuitive, and delightful journey for both new and returning users.
Problem
Users felt overwhelmed by cluttered UI and excessive content on key screens in competitor apps. Lack of emotional connection or brand personality led to a transactional, forgettable user experience. Important actions such as tracking, canceling, or reordering were buried under multiple taps, frustrating users.
Solution
To improve on these gaps, I designed a clean, focused interface that reduced visual noise and simplified decision-making. I introduced a branded mascot to inject personality, improve emotional engagement, and make the app feel more relatable. Additionally, I optimized key user flows like tracking and reordering with intuitive CTAs and reduced steps, making the overall experience faster and more enjoyable than Competitors.

Research & Competitive Analysis: Studied user behavior and benchmarked competitors like HungerStation to identify gaps and opportunities.
User Flow & Wireframing: Mapped key journeys and created low-fidelity wireframes to structure core screens and simplify navigation.
UI Design & Branding: Designed high-fidelity screens using Montserrat, custom illustrations, and a mascot to reflect a friendly, local brand.
Prototype & Handoff: Built interactive prototypes and prepared dev-ready assets for seamless implementation across platforms.
